Phone numbers

Manage BYOC and managed number resources and carrier ownership.

Leamout exposes one number resource model with byoc and managed provisioning modes.

For a BYOC number, create the identity directly and optionally attach a carrier connection:

Managed-number search uses GET /v1/numbers/available and returns opaque selection_id values plus Leamout-owned customer pricing. Provider inventory IDs, provider SKUs, and wholesale economics are intentionally hidden from the public response.

Creating a number supports Idempotency-Key. BYOC number ownership is organization-enforced, and a different organization cannot read or reassign another tenant’s number.
